Social Cohesion between different community in South Africa is one of the tools ARMA's utilizing to bring community together in promotion of unity, Ubuntu, fight against xenophobia, discrimination and division.
South Africa is well known as a rainbow nation were people lived together in harmony. However, the challenges of social inequality and unemployment are the key issues facing both local and foreign living in South Africa.
As an organisation, we are very concern with the level of unemployment and social inequality in South Africa. The strategy we can utilized to promote UBUNTU in our community is through social cohesion program. Community engagement on social cohesion is needed in South Africa to fight against discrimination and xenophobia.
We advocate for non-racial, and xenophobic community. We work tersely to promote unity and UBUNTU in the community. These programs is being achieved in partnership with Walter Sisulu University (Whittlesea Campus), Nelson Mandela University, Refugee Rights Centre (RRC), SAPS, Department of Correctional Services, Department of justice, Private Sectors, Community based organizations, Schools and faith Leaders.
